The Warren County Register and Recorder’s Office will soon be transitioning to new recording software LANDEX. Our office has been preparing for the transition for months and hopes to provide as close to a seamless transition as possible. LANDEX staff will be on-site during the transition to assist with any issues that may arise. We are very excited to provide this service to Warren County. We will soon be able to offer electronic filing, e-recording, and eventually online marriage license applications (2025).

Friday, August 30, 2024 – Our office will stop recording at 12:00 p.m. to begin our transition to Landex. Any documents presented for recording will be recorded Tuesday morning following the Labor Day holiday. The office and deed room will remain open the rest of the day as usual. No marriage license applications after 12:00 p.m.

Monday, September 2, 2024 – Courthouse closed in observance of Labor Day.

Tuesday, September 3, 2024 – We will begin recording with Landex. For attorneys and abstractors performing research, both Avenu and Landex systems will be available to search until all data is imported over. Landex staff will be on-site to assist with the transition.
